When you get a new piece of electrical equipment, such as a mobile phone or camera, then you may not know what to do with the other. The action of most people is to throw it into a drawer, or perhaps stick it on a bookshelf, or in a cupboard. The older electronic item gets forgotten, and is eventually covered with dust. The parts which come with it are lost, and before much time has passed, the electrical item is not even useable.
